Pink Rhinoceros is the fourteenth episode of the first season of the animated series, Space Goofs. It was aired on November 22, 1997.

Plot[]

A rock-n-roll band called, "Pink Rhinoceros", which was lead by the trio of rock n' roll musicians, is famous from around the world concerts, like this from an airport that starts from the episode has arrived from the plane that would swoon the girls.

They have taken refuge from the Aliens' house to try an audition for the latest rock concert that wakes up the Aliens. Shocked by the music, they have finally found a way to eliminate the very, super loud noisy rock stars.

But after one failed attempt at getting rid of the band, Etno as Slick Stagger, is forced to join the band. So at the end, the country music lead by the aliens drives the rock musicians away (which they don't like country music) back to their helicopter in defeat.

Trivia[]

  • The allusion of which Etno is transformed into Slick Stagger, God of Rock-n-Roll, was parodied from the The Rolling Stones singer, Mick Jagger and also Iggy Pop, the singer which he sung the theme, Monster Men.
  • The vocal battle was parodied from a real vocal battle with Aerosmith Lead singer Steven Tyler.
  • The inspiration for the rock-n-roll trio, and name "Pink Rhinoceros", was used from the hard rock and heavy metal bands, Kiss, Twisted Fate, Pink Floyd and MotorHead.
  • The Italian title of the episode (Country contro rock) spoils the ending.
